When I found CrossFit I thought I was a good athlete. I was quick, coordinated, agile, and had a lot of drive. CrossFit taught me that there are so many more domains to fitness. I lacked strength, power, stamina, and flexibility. My first CrossFit WOD was The Baseline, but that was all it took. I knew I needed CF in my life to become the fittest person I could. To this day I keep surprising myself and I am twice as athletic in my 30’s as I was in my 20’s.
My first CF coach and gym, CrossFit 7 Mile, taught me a love for coaching. It was awesome seeing people achieve things they didn’t think possible with a bit of guidance. I took their values of community and making positive change back to CrossFit CLE. I love being a part of a family of like minded people who all want to see each other get better.
