Open Season!!!

Alright folks! It’s now time to face our fears and sign up for The Open! It doesn’t matter if you’re a 5 year veteran or a beginner with only a month of experience, The Open is a fun and friendly competition that helps build community and camaraderie within the gym.

This year we will be doing things a little differently than we have in the past. As always, The Open workout will be announced live on Thursday evening each week (a link will be posted on where to watch this later in the week). On Fridays, we will be working on mobility, strategy and movement efficiency to help you perform your absolute best. Then, on Saturday, we will be throwing down on the workout at 9, 10 and 11am!

For the next 5 weeks, Saturdays will be a free day for those of you who are on a 3x per week membership. We want everyone to dive in and become fully immersed in the Open experience! On Saturdays, we encourage you to show up early and stick around late. Part of what makes The Open such a great experience and a top notch community builder is the push that we get from and give to one another! You will have the opportunity to judge other athletes, and encourage them to push their limits! There will be PRs, smiles, cheers and tears. All of these achievements and emotions add up to a new understanding of what you have inside of yourself, and what happens when you let that power out!

As an extra incentive to get you guys involved, if you choose to order the t-shirt that you see above and below, you will pay less for it if you have registered to compete! 25$ for the t-shirt, 15$ if you’re registered for The Open. The sign up sheet for the t-shirts is posted below the iPad at the gym.

As the workouts are released, we will begin to fill in what each workout was. Thus eliminating the ????? and putting pen to paper (so to speak) on the struggles you’ve had to challenge yourself with this Open season.

Well, there you have it! Let’s get ready to push past what we think our limits are, setting new boundaries both individually and as a community!
