CrossFit has long encouraged a diet of "lean meats and veggies, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar". Doctors know this. And so we tip our hat to Cosgrove of the Cleveland Clinic for actually pushing through a ban on sugar sweetened food and beverages. "First he bans smoking on Clinic property. Then he stops hiring smokers. Then he gives trans fat the boot." Now sugar!

"We're vigilant about what goes in our car. We only put gas in the tank. Anything else could kill the engine. But we'll put anything inside of us. We have more respect for the cars we drive than the bodies we inhabit. We'll eat just about anything that tastes good regardless of the impact on our lives. It's time we stopped." Hey all! I am out in hot, sunny LA! I Got to work out with Kris Clever today...I got smoked on the WOD, but I pr'ed my 1RM front squat at 300lbs!!! Beat the best lift there by about 50 lbs...doing everybody proud!
