Hey guys, just finished sixth week. I am halfway done with training as long as I pass all the rest of the evolutions. This week we had our mid-pfa on Monday (I did 74 mostly legit push ups in two minutes. I guess that's what happens when you have to do push ups to absolute failure several times a day, and then keep going.), another inspection on Tuesday (thankfully I passed!), then on Wednesday and Thursday we had some training that was fun by OCS standards: fire fighting and wet trainer. We enter the third and final phase of training in 2.5 weeks (I'll get to use my cell phone and drive my car!), but it's going to be a very tough couple of weeks. We have two very hard tests, two more inspections, one of which will be very difficult, drill comprehensive this coming week, and some other crap. I'm trying really hard not to fail anything. I can't wait to have liberty to go to the gym, go off base, and possibly sleep a little more. I hope you all are doing well. It's October now, so I can say that I'll see you next month!
