BUY-IN
Two rounds of:
5 Burpees
10 Wall Balls
15 Tuck Jumps
20 Dislocates
Row 250 meters

STRENGTH
3 x Max Reps of Push-ups

Quick note on maximum repetitions: If your 3 sets look something like, 20, 15, 10, more than likely, you didn't go for maximum repetitions each round. You gamed it. It doesn't say, 3 x Half-assed Efforts of Push-ups. Max rounds will probably look something more like, 36, 21, 10, or something similar. I think you get the drift. If you take offense, then you're probably gaming more than just your workouts.

WOD

7 Rounds for time:

7 Deadlifts 315/205
1 Full Gasser*
15 Pull-ups

Rest 45 seconds between rounds.**

Post times to Whiteboard.

* A Full Gasser is equal to 193 meters.
** Clock stops during rests; add time of rounds together for total time.

CASH-OUT
Hydrate.
Partner Stretch [Use this for your social time].
Foam Roll.
Post-workout nutrition.

This pic is courtesy of Eric Purcell's brother who works-out at CrossFit 2260 in Arizona. The group took on the challenge of the JIM BROWN WOD this past Sunday. Thanks, fellas! I'm honored and hope everyone enjoyed themselves during the workout. I'll continue posting more of the pics from their event, too.

Hello from OCS everybody. We just learned how to log on to the training network, and thankfully this isn't a banned site! I'm still alive and with my class. I made it through indoctrination week, which sucked balls, and now I get to wear a cool blue digital work uniform. Training is hard. We get very little sleep, get screamed at all day, and have to eat everything with a spoon. Nothing we do is right. Yesterday our drill instructor threw us on our faces ("get on your face"="do push ups") in a sand pit and hosed us down with a fire hose. Then he made us empty the contents of our canteens onto the hallway of our house so we had to clean it up before going to dinner. These are the things that memories are made of. At least now we are occasionally allowed certain priviliges, such as being able to go to the bathroom for more than 30 seconds. The workouts aren't as useless as I thought they would be. We do a lot of push ups, flutter kicks, jumping jacks, and other unpleasant things that the drill instructor can subject us to. I also saw some of the other classes doing lunges and sprints yesterday, so hopefully those are to come. It's hard to eat well here since we have to eat what they give us, and we only have 20 minutes. Now I just try to eat as much as I can because I've already lost weight. I miss you guys a ton and any time our drill instructor throws us on our faces, or makes us hold our rifles straight out in front of us, I think "this isn't as hard as CrossFit." The days are dragging, but the weeks will fly (and hopefully I won't fail anything). See you guys soon.

Rebecca, thanks for sharing. It sounds very difficult and mentally challenging knowing that nothing you do is right. At the same time it's good to hear it's not as hard as CrossFit. Keep us updated here any time you want to!
