Brady was in a major accident, in a coma for 5 days, and had to relearn how to walk. Quite a story!
I learned a lot this weekend from Coach Burgener at CrossFit's Olympic Lifting certification! This Saturday from 9:00 - 11:15 (normally a CrossFit rest day) I will be offering training for small groups (1-3 people) on snatches and cleans $15 per person for a 45 minute session.
This training is by appointment only - please RSVP via phone or email.
It will be best if you can come with a training partner because you will learn better watching your partner correct his/her mistakes as you correct yours. We will review the Burgener warmup, cover some drills designed to correct common errors, and use video so that you can see yourself what you are doing. My experience has been the video reinforces corrections much faster than a coach can put it into words. "Oh, I didn't realize I was doing that" is a common reaction.
If you've been skipping the snatch workout-of-the-day or feel like your cleans need some work, this session is for you.

After a few months and much effort, Joe got his first muscle-up yesterday!
CrossFit CLE will be closed on the morning of March 15, 16, and 17. Aaron will be in Florida for a CrossFit Olympic Lifting Certification with Coach Burgener and will come back with more tips and better training advice on cleans and snatches.
