CrossFit Workouts

We often get asked "what is a CrossFit workout"? There is a lot of variation in the daily workouts which you can see by following our free, publicly accessible Workout-Of-the-Day at facebook.com/CrossFitCLE. We follow the same WOD's that you see there -- no secret methods here -- but we as trainers help you learn the necessary skills and help you scale back weights & rounds appropriately.

Some workouts repeat every month or two and are named. So... here is a quick sample:
CrossFit Benchmark WorkoutsThese are of course scaled back for our participants to something appropriate for their fitness level (overhead press sub for handstand push-ups, or cut qty in 1/2 for example), but the top athletes perform these workouts as prescribed in incredible times. Fran, for example, can be done in under two minutes - nothing short of amazing!

Question, arnt you supposed to do each workout on its own before you are allowed to move on to the next workout??
(EX. 100 pull ups then 100 push ups then 100 sit ups then 100 squats) or can you do say 10 rounds of 10 each?

Anonymous, yes you can do them consecutively or break them up into sets. It's harder when done consecutively but breaking them up into sets is still a good workout. If you want to be "official" and competitive in times it's consecutive.
