Concept2 Rowing

Concept2 has an online ranking system where you can enter your rowing times to see how you compare in your age/weight/sex bracket across the globe. If you sign up for their online ranking system, you can now choose CrossFit CLE as your training facility.

Concept2 RowingWe have four more Concept2 rowers on order, bringing our total to five. If losing weight is your goal, rowing for 20 minutes each day on top of your regular workout is an effective calorie burning activity (workout in the AM, row in the PM for example). Running and cycling are also effective but it is common for most people to develop overuse injuries with running due to the impact. Rowing is impact free. Compared to cycling, recent research shows that rowing burns calories faster than biking at the same perceived level of exertion.
