This SUNDAY will be our last 8:00am meeting time on weekends. Beginning this Monday holiday we will be meeting at 9:00am instead of 8:00am on all weekends and holidays. Weekday time will remain the same at 6:30am.

Today's workout is run 5k. How do you know if you are running correctly? Maybe such an idea sounds silly. Dr Romanov makes his living by answering that question:

Earlier this week Vik joined us and today Jim brought two friends. We're growing!


Jim sets a new PR!

Brett just got a new pair of VS Athletics training shoes at a good price. I prefer a lighter shoe that almost feels like barefoot called the Puma H Street as recommended by the POSE method. Though no longer in production they can be bought on eBay.

This morning I found out late that I couldn't make it to today's workout and the mailing list is a good way to let everyone know quickly. But if you aren't on the list you never found out! Also, occasionally extra information is shared through the mailing list that isn't shared on the website.

We will be having a special 1 hour session on Saturday starting at 8:00am. We'll be reviewing correct form on squat and deadlift, two critical components to any successful CrossFit program. You are welcome to do the workout-of-the-day while we review form if you choose. Either way the session will end by 9:00am.

I will be in San Diego Saturday and Sunday for the CrossFit powerlifting certification & hope to come back with some great info. This means we can't meet this Saturday and Sunday. I was going to recommend you visit Bill's group on the Westside but he can't meet this weekend either.

I apologize to everyone who showed up this morning. It simply was not possible for me to make it today (unplanned) but we will be back at it tomorrow.

I've been without internet for the last 5 days as I moved into my new place. The site hasn't been updated, but that doesn't mean we stopped working out. We're still going strong, having fun, and seeing solid improvement. Stop in and join us!
